SALVATION

Introduction:

God is a perfect being. He made everything absolutely perfect according to His own standards of perfection. He created men out of love, for a relationship, and for His glory. He created men in His own image and likeness as seen in Genesis 1:27, therefore, we are a perfect creation.
Yes, we were once perfect when we were created, and the main purpose for our existence is for a relationship with Him because He just loves us that much. God gave us free will so we have the freedom to choose whether to love Him or reject Him and in rejecting Him who is perfect we sinned and became imperfect. Because we are sinful in nature, we are doomed that is why we need salvation.

In this lesson, we will be discussing salvation. Salvation is defined as some altered or improved state of being in a life or a new existence of some kind after death. We need salvation because humans are naturally sinful, and sin has consequences. Sins are things done that are against the law or it is just simply lawlessness. I believe Christians know about this topic, but it is critical to be deeply rooted in this truth.
